

THE STORY SO FAR...
January 1993:
At the Hasselblad University in Hamburg; A new series of workshops, with guest lecturers organized by Hasselblad Germany. I did the first one specialising in black & white with Ansel Adams’s Zone System and Hasselblad’s new camera, the 205 TCC. Of the 15 participants, including professional photographers, none had ever used the Zone System. We did two days of practical work including film development.
November 1995:
Another Hasselblad Workshop, this time in Nymphenburg Munich. This was well supported (15 participants) and - like the Hamburg workshop - it included practical work with Adams ’s Zone System, film developing and printing. The theme was “Fine Art Photography”, and I concentrated on archival processing methods and presentation. I repeated these workshops several times, but with the rise of digital imaging, interest in Fine Art Printing has waned...
