
The images seen here are part of a collection of 75 images made on various black and white films exposed in medium format cameras (Hasselblad 500 CX or Plaubel Makina 67).
To establish a quality photo archive for the community, I presented the complete set of pictures, in archival mounts, to the local heritage society "Unser Dorf" during an exhibition of these images for my 80th birthday.
Readers may notice a 10-year gap in this work, the result of extensive travel in the American Southwest, Tuscany, Spain & Portugal - among other activities such as writing 3 books!
An important photo-historical document of village life inspired by August Sander (German photographer. 1876-1964) I am still hopeful of showing this collection in a major city museum or gallery.
"Unser Dorf" represents a wide range of cultural activities in Wessling in Upper Bavaria.
